The Review:
While I enjoyed City of Lost Souls much better than City of Fallen Angels, I still didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I enjoyed the first three books in the Mortal Instruments Series. During this book, you get to read the point of view of several of the characters. I wasn't particularly interested in all of them, but it still gave you some insight into their character which was interesting. You see a lot more of Jace in this book, but it wasn't the Jace we all know and love from the first three books. I really miss the real Jace. He adds so much fun to this series. Then there's Sebastian. If you read my 10 Least Favorite Characters of 2011, you know how I feel about Sebastian. My feelings haven't changed. Overall, I still wish this series would have ended as a trilogy, because these last two books have really disappointed me. With that being said, some of the wit, humor, and personality that I loved about those first books re-appeared in this book, and that gives me high hopes for the next book.

Don't Forget The Dark Artifices!
I've heard quite a lot of people say there shouldn't even be a 4th or 5th book because the last two weren't as good...bummer, but i guess i should start the series before passing on it
