The Blurb:
A summer in New Orleans is exactly what Allie needs before starting college. Accepting her dad’s invitation to work at his hotel offers an escape from her ex-boyfriend and the chance to spend the summer with her best friend. Meeting a guy is the last thing on her mind—until she sees Levi.
Unable to resist the infuriating yet alluring Levi, Allie finds herself at the center of a supernatural society and forced to decide between following the path she has always trusted or saving a city that might just save her.
My Review:
Flight is the first book in The Crescent Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy. I absolutely loved this book! The setting was the perfect combination of welcoming and eerie, which I can only imagine New Orleans to be like. Allie reminded me of myself in a lot of ways with how she feels the need to plan everything in her life. An Levi? Oh my.. Levi, Levi, Levi. He even made my belly flip a couple times. He is quite naughty in this book, but I can't help but love him anyway. The premise of this book is very intriguing, and with the supernatural society, I haven't read anything quite like it. Alyssa Rose Ivy never ceases to entertain me in her books! I'm a big fan of hers and can't wait to read Focus, Book 2 in the Crescent Chronicles!!
The ARC of Flight by Alyssa Rose Ivy was provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.
