Torn is the first book in the Pteron Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy. I don't know about you, but I've been waiting for Hailey's story for a looooong, long time. Finally, I've read it! Yay! I've loved seeing Hailey grow up through the previous few series. She's been a favorite for me from the very beginning in the Crescent Chronicles. I love her spunk, and she's kept that through everything. She's very independent and hasn't had a relationship in so long now(has she ever had one? .. I can't think of any), that she doesn't know how to handle a relationship nor does she want one... even after a seriously steamy night. Wyatt, said steamy night guy, has other plans, and I think he's going about things in a pretty smart way. I like his character quite a bit. Unfortunately for him, Hailey has a lot on her plate right now, so she's fighting him and her feelings for him pretty strongly. I think this series is going to be every bit as addictive as the previous series that take place in this world.
