 My teaser this week is from The Burn by Annie Oldham:

“When I woke up, all I saw was the most beautiful face with dark hair looking over me. Only for a second, and then she was gone, and now I’m not even sure she was there. I was so out of it. I love that face. Not in love, I don’t think. But I love her. Does that make any sense? She looked at me like I was the first and last person she ever wanted to see."
