She started to sidle quietly away, hoping he wouldn't hear or see her. Just then he fell to his knees.
Is he hurt? Does he need help? Perhaps she should go get Mistress Eustacia.
Before she could rush away, he bent forward and moaned as though from deep inside. The sound grew, raw and wrenching, until it became a howl. Then he bowed lower and became still.

ReplyDeleteI'm about 3/4 of the way through. So, I should have a review up in about a day or so. :o) So far, I'm really liking it. I love this kind of romance anyway, and I almost pulled an all nighter last night. I stayed up until 4:30am reading. I just couldn't put it down. Thank you for stopping by :o)
