Teaser Tuesday: Full Snow Moon by Lisa Begin-Kruysman

My teaser this week is from Full Snow Moon by Lisa Begin-Kruysman:

It looked like the light of a swaying lantern.

Nearing its source, Denis observed a curious snow-covered mound that he hoped-and feared- was the outline of Alex's Jeep. With no time to search for the bearer of the mysterious illumination, Denis swiftly cleared a portion of the mound with his arm until the frame of the jeep was visible.

Denis spoke loudly and firmly. "Alex, if you can hear me, hang on. I'm going for help."
