I had a very hard time staying focused on this story. The beginning started off great. It got you pumped and ready for something that you expected to take place later within the story, but it wasn't re-visited. So, that left me a little confused. Did I miss something? As a whole, I don't feel like I was given enough information to really know what was going on in the long scheme of things. I wasn't able to connect with the main character. I just didn't find him believable. The premise behind the book is very interesting, and the series has the potential to be great. Finding Summerland simply wasn't for me, but there are several reviewers who loved this story, so you might like it too.
