My Review:

The Grave Winner is the first book in The Grave Winner Series and the enjoyable debut novel by Lindsey R. Loucks. This book took zombies mixed with magic and spun them around into a highly unique and entertaining story.  Leigh was a great main character. She was strong, and witty, and an all around fun person. There is a love triangle that develops. I'm not to keen on either of the love interests just yet. I need to know more about them. Tram is slightly in the lead, but I want to know why Callum acts like a complete jerk sometimes. Is he not who he seems? And who/what is the Counselor? We never got to meet him. Or did we? Maybe I'm over thinking it. I don't want to say too much, but there was a single statement that stuck in my head and really makes me wonder about the counselor though. Hmm! I want to know! Needless to say, I'm excited to find out more in the next book!
