Storm Siren is the first book in the Storm Siren Trilogy by Mary Weber. This is quite a book, and has a little bit of something for everyone with it's paranormal and elemental aspects. The characters are pretty easy to like too, aside from Adora. There's a definite attraction between Nym and Eogan, but I also liked Colin quite a bit. I don't think this'll be a love triangle, but I guess we'll see. Because of her abilities, Nym thinks she's evil, but with the help these new people in her life, I think she's going to start seeing things differently. It had bits of down time that drew things out longer than I felt was necessary, but Storm Siren is an intriguing book. I'm curious to see where it goes.
Mary Weber is a ridiculously uncoordinated girl plotting to take over make-believe worlds through books, handstands, and imaginary throwing knives. In her spare time, she feeds unicorns, sings 80’s hairband songs to her three muggle children, and ogles her husband who looks strikingly like Wolverine. They live in California, which is perfect for stalking L.A. bands, Joss Whedon, and the ocean.
