Cold Queen by K. Webster was a retelling of Frozen, or at least that's what I keep reading in other reviews. Aside from the moody sister and the whole ice thing, I didn't really see it too much. But, I'm completely okay with that. I didn't like Frozen. I loved Cold Queen though, and I felt like it was it's own story entirely. The romance was pretty steamy from pretty early on. There was so much chemistry it was craziness! Their interactions were wonderful as they kept going hot and cold on each other.. sometimes literally. And, that just makes the whole thing all the more intoxicating. So, yes this was a dark fairy tail, but there was a lot of light in it as well. It was a perfect blend of its fire and ice theme.
